One of my favourite things to do is restore faithful stuffed friends to health. I understand the importance of retaining as much of the original toy as possible – staying true to their character. I know that sometimes the seemingly insignificant detail is the most important part. I can bathe them, fluff up remaining fur, line them from the inside – so that should holes develop in the future stuffing will not be lost, secure seams, darn holes, replace eyes, and though I can’t promise they’ll look new (and let’s face it, that’s not the idea – if we wanted a new bear that would be easy!) they will leave my hospital feeling refreshed, with perky ears and all their limbs.
If a friend is required to enable sleep – I can in a lot of cases, offer a one day emergency surgery, if you can drop off early and collect just before bedtime.
I am based in Leyton E10 – East London. Toys can be dropped off by arrangement, or posted using a 24 hour tracked service.

Wash, Fluff and Stuff of a modern jointed friend – £75.
Surface Clean on vintage/antique friends – £75
The price will increase slightly according to the size. Please add £10-£20 if they are filled with foam chips. This stuff is nasty and messy. It disintegrates to a powder, leaves an orange residue and is carcinogenic. If toys have this filling I will insist on replacing it before I start other repairs.

Joint replacement – from £30 each (includes reinforcing the fabric internally if necessary).
External Paw Pads – £30 each plus fabric cost

Re-furring – £20,000,000 – I really don’t like re-furring entire toys – I feel like it takes away from their beautiful worn characters. The odd patch is ok, but please don’t ask me to cover more than 50%!
